Obituary for Patricia Beatrice Row

Pamela Beatrice Row, of Mountain View, California, beloved sister, daughter, and aunt was born April 3, 1941 in Washington, DC to Klon Ovington Row and Beatrice Helen Row. She was the first of four children. She is survived by Dorothy Row, sister, and predeceased by Stephen Row, brother, and Marsha Row Nicholson, sister. She will also be lovingly remembered by her California families, The Falk family, Harry and Mary and “kids” Taylor, Harry and Serra and the Keep family, Peter and Sally and “kids”, Miles and Chrissie and Nigel and Claudia and all of her “grandchildren”.
Before coming to California, Pam worked in retail and as an Administrative Assistant at American University in Washington, DC. In 1972, she moved across the country to Mountain View, CA, where she built a life full of friends and family. Shortly after her arrival, Pam worked as an Activities Director at Oakwood Gardens and a Receptionist and then Dietary Supervisor in Dr. Claude Marquette’s office. Eventually, Pam decided to follow her heart and become a Nanny, becoming very close to the families and children in her care. She became a part of some families and they were still close to this day.
As her vision diminished, Pam became involved with the Silicon Valley Council of the Blind. As Membership Chair of the SVCB, she contributed greatly to the growth of the organization. Pam loved spending time doing crafts, organizing, baking, cooking and collecting decorations that she would display for every Holiday. She had an amazing ability to make everyone smile and feel welcome. We will miss her laughter and her deep devotion to those she loved.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the California Council of the Blind. Arrangements under the direction of Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary in Mountain View, CA.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18th, from 6-8pm at the Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary in Mountain View, CA.
