Amelia Alexander

Los Altos resident
Amelia (Molly) Alexander, long time owner of the Alpine Beer Garden, formerly known as Rossotti's and affectionately called Zotts, passed away June 20, 2017.
For years Molly was a resident of Los Altos. Recently she moved to Somerset Assisted Living, San Jose, due to declining health. She died from congestive heart failure. Her spunky spirit and smile will be missed by family and friends.
Molly was born August 17, 1923 in Phoenix, AZ. She married John Alexander on March 25, 1951 and together they raised five children and operated the Alpine Beer Garden since 1958. John passed away in 1994 and Molly, in John's honor, continued to operate the Beer Garden. Both she and John were well known and loved by many customers.
Molly also worked in several companies in the Mountain View area including MEC and Sylvania.
Molly is survived by her daughter Maxine, daughter Geri, son Norman (Vicki) and daughter Leslie (Terry). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held on July 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Saint William Catholic Church, 611 S. El Monte Ave., Los Altos, CA 94022.
